ProgramsVenetian Mask Making Workshop - Oswego County Girl Scouts Mon. Jul. 7, 11:00 AM - Wed. Jul. 9, 4:00 PM Mexico United Methodist Church *Cancelled* This workshop will let the girls explore the use of paper mache and will let them use their own creative abilities to create unique Venetian inspired party masks. This workshop will allow the girls to work in a sculptural medium and introduce them to thinking 3-dimensinally rather than just 2-dimensionally. The girls will use paper mache to mold the form of the mask and will then decorate it using acrylic paints, gauche, glazes, and/or decoupage. The masks will serve as a fun activity that can be used later on for Halloween or as something decorative to hang on the wall. Masks created at this event may be placed on display at Spark Contemporary Art Space Studio in Syracuse and returned to the girls in late August.
