Support Girl Scouting

Get Connected. . .Volunteer Today

Today’s Girl Scouts gain life skills as they develop positive self‑esteem, leadership, and a commitment to themselves and their communities. Girls get the most out of Girl Scouting when friends and other people from the community are involved.

You Benefit Too . . .

Enhance your skills, develop networking opportunities, and strengthen your resume – open doors to personal growth and lifelong rewards of being a mentor. No matter what your experience, your age, or the amount of time you have to give – there is an opportunity for you!

Help Girls Become the BEST They Can Be . . .
Get involved with people who care and are making a difference. The success of Girl Scouts depends largely on the efforts of volunteers – like YOU!

Who Can Volunteer?
Volunteers age 18 to 29:

Young adult volunteers, both women and men, are extremely valuable to the organization because they can best relate to girls, their interests and lives.

Moms and Dads:
A critical staple in Girl Scouting – parents!  Often a Girl Scout volunteer is the mother of a Girl Scout, or of a girl looking to become a Girl Scout. These traditional volunteers have long played a valuable role in the organization. Today, both parents can be of great help to girls, the troops, and the organization as a whole.

Retirees:
In the same way that families and elders guide girls in their own lives, the Girl Scouts can benefit from experienced volunteers.

Girl Scout Alumnae:
Once a Girl Scout – always a Girl Scout!  Girl Scouts of any age who have the opportunity to work with an alumnae can share experiences and help make new ones across generations, but with common values and goals defined by the organization.
